Julien Regnard studied animation in Belgium at La Cambre Art School where he made two short films awarded and screened throughout festivals. He then joined ******* Saloon Studio in Ireland to work as a storyboard artist on many projects including Oscar nominated feature film “Song of the Sea” (Tomm Moore, 2013), “The Breadwinner” (Nora Twomey, 2016) and “** Father's ******” (Nora Twomey, 2019). He also directed a short film at ******* Saloon, “Somewhere Down the Line”, who won the Best Animated Film Award at Clermont Ferrand Film Festival in 2015 and Best Animation Film at the Irish Film and Television Award 2015.
