David E Woodley is an Australian theatre, television and film actor. Set on studying criminal law, he spent a short time in the Australian Federal Police before 'falling' into his current profession. Born in Queensland, Australia. David trained in Guidlford, Surrey, UK with June and Adrian Cooper of St Catherine's Drama Studio. David also undertook private voice studies with Alan Woodhouse(Hercules) of Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. David is also an accomplished horseman, having trained in stunts with Canadian born stunt co-coordinator Ric Anderson(Unbroken). He relocated to Sydney to star as series regular, Hopper Hadley in the Network 10 television drama, Echo Point (1995). David then went on to become a series regular with the long running television soap, Home and Away (1988) from 1997-2000. David studied for a degree in film and continues to work as an actor between New Zealand and Australia.
